Background
Your responsibility is to create quotes for clients and follow up on them. The SSR role is more along the lines of sales support rather than a straight sales role. As your skills and knowledge improve, we will also give you the opportunity to expand your role with existing business development efforts for additional results-based incentives. You will be working out of our Warren, RI office. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, and we are family-friendly and therefore flexible on hours. We remain open to one person performing the tasks of a couple of our job openings. We're flexible in working with you.
Position Responsibilities
- Arrive at our Warren, RI office ready to work at your agreed-upon hours. This is not a work-from-home job initially, however remote work is an option.
- This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week. We are family-friendly and therefore flexible on hours allowing you to balance your family responsibilities and build your career.
- To participate in weekly sales meetings and daily huddles to report your progress, provide input on quotes, report problems and get help with challenges encountered.
- To work with our sales team to generate a client quote with Quoteworks. Training shall be provided.
- To work with our sourcing partners and distributors to get the cost basis for our quotes and set client pricing according to company guidelines.
- To create renewal quotes based on an existing book of business around previously sold products and services.
- To maintain and update our Customer Relationship Manager software system – Keap. Training shall be provided.
- To call and email (follow up) on quotes sent to clients and book consults for our sales team, following the process outlined when needed.
- To accurately track all quotes and forecast anticipated close dates in Keap.
- To confirm and concierge all appointments you book.
- To follow up on no-shows and cancellations to attempt to reschedule them.
- To keep detailed notes on calls and communications in Keap.
- To complete all tasks set for you in the CRM on time and as directed.
- Be aware of all current mailings and promotions so you can answer questions from prospective clients.
- To be a serious student of our internal Sales Playbook and process so you follow it to the letter, offering suggestions on how to make it better.
- To actively participate in training programs.
- To assist at local sales & marketing events, as needed.
- Other related tasks on an as-needed basis.

Preferences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
